  Just A Few Important Things

  Today I picked up possibly the best bargain ever, on a DVD which retails for around $40! I will reveal it tomorrow in an epic blog recapping my DVD purchases over the last few weeks WITH PICTURES!!!

  A family member bought a PS3 today, so that means Blu-Ray. Although I wont be buying only blu-rays now only some e.g Batman Blu-ray Giftset, Iron Man, Zodiac. Pretty much only films that I think are worth it and ones that have more special features than their DVD counterparts (Zodiac is an example, damn good movie to). By the way I am not that interested in the games but I would like to try GTA4.

  Tonight on ABC2 Vertigo was shown, good but I can't get over the ending. Good inspiration for me and my film making endevours though. Frenzy is next week and will conclude the Hitchcock season. David Stratton who is a well known movie critic kind of spoilt the movie for me in his introduction just before the movie started. I hope that ABC2 put on a Kubrick, Tarantino, Rodriguez season on.

  Last of all I just counted that out of all the DVD's I own I still need to watch 6! although I have seen 5 of them before purchasing them on DVD.

  --Oh I just remembered I got to DVD's today the other came in the mail, as a hint it was made during the 90's and won one of the big 5 Oscars.

  Recent News

  A bit of everything this time.

  --One of the DVD's I had ordered came yesterday: Jackie Brown. Good but not my favourite Tarantino film. I should hopefully get the other one tomorrow.

  --I will be doing a special feature on Tarantino shortly.

  --Looking forward to Heroes tonight (finally some decent TV!) and what I didn't know after Heroes, Prison Break starts it's 4th season and Scrubs begins its 7th awesome. If channel 7 keeps this lineup for the entire season I will be pleased.

  --In the last few days heaps have ideas have been coming into my head, trouble is I am never near my computer or have a pen and paper handy. Good thing I don't loose these ideas easily.

  --The other day I found this small DVD shop that I checked out and was at first at bit unsure but I think I will go back there. They mainlly sell horror (most of which I have never heard of) and about 80% of the stock is R1 DVD's but theres some good stuff there.

  --Been playing through Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, although I don't consider it apart of the Call of Duty franchise. Treyarch really are hopeless, plus this game is so hard to play on the PS2.

  --I said that I was hoping to get some money and get some DVD's, I have no idea if this will happen or not.

  --Tomorrow I am going to try and get a few pages done on one of my scripts atleast.

  Good Riddance!!!

  So a while back I said that I bought Reservoir Dogs and then i got it a few days later as a present?? Well I have been trying to sell the one I bought but its been difficult, however after redoing the listing I finally have a bid on the damn thing. Even though its only a dollar I really don't care, I will just be glad to part with it.

  I am already really hyped for Machete next year. Even though it was going to be a included with the Planet Terror as a Direct-To-DVD, which would have been ridiculously awesome but a theatricle is good because it will get some attention which will be good since Grindhouse was such a faliure at the box office.

  This week I should be getting some money to get alot of DVD's and cross off most of the DVD's on my list.
