I'm buying all my games at BestBuy! (I keep forgeting to post this)

Why? I've listed the reasons below, and while it seems like a lot ... I actually got into all of this by accident. But now that it's all rolling along it's pretty sweet.

    1. I have a reward Zone card. They're free and eventually they get you free stuff.

    2. I do all my X-Mas shopping and my personal CD/DVD buying at best buy so I usually spend $2000 there each year. That gets me into some sort of deal where I get double points all the time. $2000 seems like a lot but it's always X-Mas that puts me over.

    3. Being part of #2 made me part of their game reward program when it started (bunch of other nice benefits). I think you have to ask to be signed up now.

    4. Due to my being part of #2 and #3, when I buy any over hyped/much anticipated game I instantly get a $10 gift card.

So the last few games I got have all cost me $49 AND I'm adding to my gift certificate totals at the same time. Batman was the last game I got the $10 card on, I imagine the same will apply for Uncharted and Call of Duty.

(I usually get the games on the day they come out so I don't miss out.)

So my last trip was to get Batman AA. Bought it with a $10 card from SF4, got a new $10 card on the spot. The $49 I spent got me another $25 in gift certificates.

It's nice. Plus I'm not promised thing from reserving a game only to find later that the employees have taken them all to sell on eBay. (True story ... You guys know who I'm talking about).

    That is all.

Thoughts on Marvel vs Capcom 2 (PS3)

I put off writing this until I had a chance to really play.

All the complaints I've seen are usually based on how unbalanced the competition feels sometimes ...
Well ... I actually don't mind that. My gripe, or gripes, are all small ... but I guess they add up.

    1. You can't switch the character order before the fight begins. The DC, Arcade, and PS2 versions all allowed this ... I miss it
    2. If I'm on a hot streak, I can't invite anyone. It seems you only have to hit the "X" button to accept your first fight. After that your next challenger controls when the fight begins. Since most folks are itching to play in crowded rooms ... I can never get back to the "main room screen" to invite someone ... so I have to quit then go back in ... annoying.
    3. I still can't search for matches with mics ... the game freezes ... all I can say to that is wow

Other than that I've got no complaints. I've played enough to add PSN buddies who are around my skill level, so I usually make a room and invite 6-8 people. Without the "killers" (you know, the guys who pick Psylocke, Magneto and Sentinel over and over and over ...) we usually end up playing for hours on end. I don't know about the others but I enjoy it.

So after playing for a week and a half ... I say it was 15 bucks well spent.

    P.S.
I think I'm the only person who likes to use Sabertooth :-)

    Dang You Square-Enix!

So ... after waiting for what feels like forever for The Last Remnant to hit the PS3 it looks like I'll be left out in the cold.
It appears they fear poor sales based off the PC and 360 numbers ...
Here's a thought guys, most folks who are JRPG fans own a PS3 ... not a 360 ... and don't do PC games (at least the ones I know ... I'm sure someone will disagree)

Please don't let Namco follow suit with the Tales of Vesperia release (they still have named a U.S. release date).
