I'm the guy in the Twins shirt. I normally smile, and I was hunched.![]()
I'm going to a overnight camp, so no internet whatsoever. Unless I get sick and go home, which would suck! It's my fourth year going here; I'm really excited. I'm doing a sailing camp for the first time.![]()
Well, I hope everyone has...fun playing games, soaking up rays, or whatever people do. By the way, Hellboy II was surpisingly good. Better than the original, but too predictable. I hope everyone has a good week.![]()

Great trailer! Looks so good. Original story (an actual sequel, too), more action, and more MI6. My one fear is that if you watch the trailer, you see the whole movie. I have very high hopes for this one, since the last was so good.![]()
I read The Green Mile by Stephen King. Great book. It's kinda long (500 pages or so), but goes by fast. So good.
I was gone up north for a week, at my aunt and uncle's cabin. I read a lot, did a puzzle, watched 5 moives, and slept. Very relaxing trip. There were boats and fireworks galore. Anywhoo...Here's a bunch of my pictures. Enjoy!![]()
These aren't all the pictures I took, just the best.
Wow. Pixar has made another masterpiece. The animation is beautiful. Photorealism in animation has never been so good looking! This is like the MGS 4 of movies. Absolutely gorgeous. The muisc works perfectly, too. The opening flyover of the galaxy is partnered by a slightly depressing tune, once they reach Earth. Two 2001: A Space Odyssey songs are put in, as well as some references. The voices from the robots were done by the same man who did R2D2. He is so good. The expressions from their voices as well as body language easily conveys what is meant. The plot is still a little soft, but a few political messages are thrown in. They have to do with trash, obesity, and screens everywhere. This is the best movie I have seen this year (by far), and Pixar's best to date. Robots have never been so beautiful. WaaAALL EE!
5/5
Sorry for the quick review. All I can say is this: See it.
I'm going to be gone for about a week. I might be able to log on, but I doubt it. If I do, I probably won't blog. Please give me several days to reply to any PMs or comments. GH: On Tour still rocks...I would say a 7.5 so far.
That's right....I got Guitar Hero: On Tour! I've been waiting for 2 and a half years....'Bout time!
Impressions:
So far, it's what you would expect from GH DS. It's fun, but I'm already 2/5 done on medium career (I'm stuck between medium and hard. Hard is too hard, medium is too easy). Lack of online really disappoints me. The Guitar Grip works well so far, as long as you keep your wrist straight. Using the thumb loop also helps from getting carpel tunnel.
While $50 is a lot to dish out for only 25 songs, Guitar Hero 4 for the DS should provide a greater amount of tracks. Go forth and rock!
