1. I heard Persona 4 is coming to the states. Exciting stuff... I'll see when I can pre-order it and hopefully get two copies (one to play, another to keep for future value).
2. My car broke down on Saturday when I went to the mall to see "Get Smart". The car had a coolant leak in the lower engine, but luckily, it only cost roughly $100 to fix it. Oh, and the movie was great. ![]()
3. I'm going to my grandparents' house on the 20th and staying there until the 22nd, so I won't be on a whole lot then.
4. Our family recently got DirecTV satellite service, which is way better than broadcast, which we've had for as long as I can remember. 100+ channels is great, except when there's nothing on at all ![]()
5. I apologize for not being on as much lately, but with the 4th of July weekend, there wasn't much activity here. But with E3 just around the corner, things will pick up again, and I'll be on much more often. ![]()
See ya around...

I got Metal Gear Solid 4 today...
Haven't played it yet because I'm still waiting on some stuff, but I can't wait ^_^
Other than that, not much else to say...
I just couldn't wait until Tuesday, so I'm gonna put up my pick for July's rock band of the month.
Audioslave is an interesting experiment in band mashups. In 2000, Zack de la Rocha of Rage Against the Machine left his bandmates (Tom Morello, guitarist; Tim Commerford, bassist; Brad Wilk, drummer) abruptly, and the rest of the band vowed to continue with a new vocalist. The next year, the legendary Chris Cornell (from Soundgarden) was brought on board, and the band became Audioslave. Unlike the grungy riffs and politically-charged lyrics of Rage, Audioslave took on a slower, moodier feel to its songs. Their first, self-titled album featured the singles "Cochise" and "Like A Stone". In 2005, the album "Out of Exile" was released, and it debuted at number one. Audioslave also had the distinction during that year of being the first American rock band to play in Cuba. "Revelations" was released the next year, but it would be the band's final release - Cornell left the band in 2007 amid rumors that Rage would be reuniting for a concert appearance. However, it would probably be safe to say this six-year experiment in rock talent was a success.

Another thing: Next month, I'll most likely feature a 70's or 80's band, if only because of GH.
A few things:
1. I have removed 16 users from my friends list. Don't be alarmed, though... users who comment in my blogs and those who post with me a lot have been kept. The ones I cleaned out don't post in my blog, switched to another account, or got banned.
2. I'm trying to catch up with blog comments... I've just been too lazy to do it for various reasons. I just left comments on four blogs, so that alone should say how lazy I am. ![]()
3. I have nearly mastered the easy difficulty level in GH3. The only song that gives me trouble is Raining Blood...
I'm also practicing some of the first six songs on medium, and I'm getting better at it. Only a matter of time before I'm FC'ing songs regularly... ![]()
4. While I'm not shredding on a plastic guitar, I've picked up the DualShock 2 again to play Persona 3. Man, it's been so long since I played that... it's an incredible game. For those of you who have not played it yet, pick up the FES version now before it goes off the market!
That's about it. Enjoy your day
1. You decide to buy a few songs you can't seem to complete.
2. Your left hand fingers move by themselves when you hear a song you've played multiple times.
3. The only YouTube videos you watch are FC's on Expert.
4. Your vision is always warped, as if you've been staring at the black-and-white spiral too long.
5. Your wrist always hurts for no apparent reason.
If all of these apply to you, congratulations - you're a GH geek, like me!
If you have any more that I may have missed, please list 'em! (Yeah, Zoid, I'm talking to you
)
So, I turned 22 this year... I got a $25 GameStop gift card, which I immediately used to help pay for my newest game: Guitar Hero 3 for Xbox 360. My sister wanted to play it too, so she helped contribute.
This is my first GH game, so obviously I'm still a newbie at it. I'm trying, though ^_^
