Boy, I can say this has easily been the greatest G-Fest I've been to yet! I got to meet some amazing celebrities from the Godzilla films, as well as hang out with fellow G-Fans! Sadly, I was unable to win the video game tournament. I probably would have had the guy I went up against in round 3 wouldn't have been spamming. I guess you're allowed to do that, because the overall winner of the tourney was a spammer. Nonetheless, it was fun.
As well, I came home with some nice stuff. I got some toys from, as well as a cash prize. Yes, I big cash prize! I bought a ticket for a raffle at the last minute, and they pulled mine! So I won a lot of dough (won't say how much though). I'm still debating what to use it on. I've actually started to veer away from getting a 360, and perhaps getting a Digital Camera so I can start making short/fan films with ease. Who knows, I'm still debating.
Either way, I'm back, and refreshed!

Less than a week until Chicago! I'm also feeling very good about the tourney! I've been practicing everyday, and it's just too easy for me now. Whether or not I win the tourney, I'm sure I'll make it close to the top (top six, or three). My next blog post might not be until after I get back, so don't be surprised if I don't post for a while.
Plus, to kill some time, I made a new blog header. Let me know what you think!

Yep, it's here, and I'm not at all spazzing out over it like I always have. It just seems like, "Summer, hm, that's nice." and nothing more. I don't know, it's cool to be out of school, we all know how much hell it is, and believe me, I've seen the worst, unless I've only been getting tastes of bigger things to come.
I'm heading into Grade 11 in September, and I can already say that I won't be quite the same. With recent events that have happened in my life, I'm going to be thinking a lot this summer, and it'll change me dramatically. It won't change me much on here, but people who actually know me will see a difference. I'm still playing games (G:Unleashed) but now I'm back into the position where I really could care less for video games. it's ironic seeing as though I just got Super Mario RPG. ![]()
Over the past days I've been trying new things, and I've been enjoying this sudden change. I once said that I would never grow out of games (I probably won't, this might just be in the moment) but now that I think of it, that might be a possibilty . . . someday, not today. Nonetheless, don't expect me on GS too much (what else is new?). I'm going through yet another period of "finding myself", only I can expect this one will last much longer, but we'll just see.
With that, I leave with a quote from Ferris Beuller, "Life can move at you pretty fast. If you don't stop to look around once in a while, you could miss it."

That's right! I've finally got the legendary Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars (SNES)! Much thanks to my friend -Sphere- who sold the game to me (along with Yoshi's Story (N64)). So far, I find it to be a lot of fun. I've got Mallow on my team already, and we're chasing down Croc. So yeah, I'm not far yet, but so far it's been great! I'm looking forward to playing some more of it once I'm done here. ![]()
On a side note, I've completed three of my exams and have my last one for Drama cl@ss to write tomorrow. Yeah, it's just a bunch of definitions, and some critiquing, so it'll be easy. Then I'm off for summer vacation. I've also got only two weeks left to prepare for the Godzilla Unleashed Tournament, so I've still got to keep training. Anyways, that's it for now!

I've been busy today, but I was able to find some time to write a review for Godzilla Unleashed! Before you read it, for those of you who haven't played this game, or even know what it is, here's one of the trailers to give you an idea of what it is about.
Well, here's the review. I hope you all enjoy it! Also, check out my last blog for info on what's going on! ![]()

Well, I just got home from school, so I officially have only one full day of school left, and then after that are my four days of exams! I plan to be studying this week for my first two exams, Science and Art. Yeah, so it begins.
However, I'm going to be doing more than just that. I've also got to train for two Godzilla Tournaments. That's right, two tournaments, both for seperate games. As you probably know, I am training for the Godzilla Unleashed Tournament that will be held at G-Fest XV this year in Chicago. I got a confirmation from one of the people running it (who happens to be the holder of 4 consecutive tourny wins) that they have enough Nintendo Wiis (including mine that I volunteered) to hold the tournament.
Now, last year, I played this guy in the Semi-Finals (obviously he won), but through our messaging he remembered who I was, and with that, he invited me to a VIP Godzilla Save the Earth (Xbox) Tournament, that will be held after hours at G-Fest (late night gaming for the win!). So with that, I now have to train for both Godzilla Unleashed, and once again the game I don't own, Godzilla Save the Earth. So it's time to whip out my copy of Destroy All Monsters Melee for the Gamecube, and start mashing those buttons!
Well, wish me luck as I go into exams, and a hell of a few weeks of training. I'm gonna need it. ![]()
