Braces

I know I'm going to have people agree and disagree with me, but this is my opinon at the moment!
For those of you who would disagree, leave me alone! I've only had them on for a day!

But anywhoos, braces are the source of all evil in the world T.T I just got them on yesterday and I already feel like I'm going to die. So far, my mouth is killing me, one of the wires is cutting into my cheek and now I have a huge gash in it, I look like a dork when I talk and I can't pronounce a lot of words (****!!!!), and I'm living on a diet of pudding and yogurt, and let me tell you those two things ARE NOT very filling. I've been starving all day, but I don't want to eat because, for one, this stupid wire cutting into my cheek, and the fact that I have this retainer thingy that whenever I try to eat the food gets caught in it, and I can't take it out! It's like freakin' glued in or something!!!! ARGH!!!!
And the thing I *sarcasm* love *end sarcasm* the most, is that I have to deal with this for about 3 and a half years
I feel like screaming....

Sorry about that rant. I just really needed to get that out! I need to distract myself from them somehow....any ideas people?

Maybe I'll just watch Marebito or something like that...or Shutter since I finally got it from Netflix...

POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT

"We promised to stay together forever..."

Pim and Ploy were born siamese twins sisters and have been pretty much their whole lives until one day they decide to seperate. But when Ploy dies in the operation, Pim is left alone to grieve over her sisters death for the rest of her life.
(A few years later) Pim arrives home late to find that all the lights have been shut off. With no sign of her boyfriend, Wee, she decides to search around the house to figure out what is going on.
Finally, the lights come on as a group of Pim's friends, including Wee, come out holding a cake and begin singing happy birthday.

Having a bit of party fun, one of her friends decides to do some card reading for her. When she suddenly flips over a Queen and gets an uneasy look on her face. She tells Pim that her lost things will be found and begins asking her if she has lost something. Pim shakes her head, as her friends tells her that it could be a someone and not a something coming back to her and that there could possibly be a cost.
Seeing that Pim has become very uneasy, another friend comes up and tells her not to believe everything that she hears, but Pim still keeps an eye on the Queen card.
A phone call comes late at night as Wee gets up to answer the phone. The person on the other line is looking for Pim but Wee tells them that she is busy and couldn't come to the phone. After a minute Pim finally comes to the phone to have Wee tell her that her mother is in the hospital back in Thailand (They're living in Korea and the moment) and isn't doing very well. Sad, Pim begins to blame herself over her mom's health, just as she had for Ploy's death.

Recalling her sister's death, Pim is suddenly awoken by Wee as he asks if she's okay. Pausing with her answer, Pim looks around on the plane and then finally says that she didn't want to go back after what had happened. She, again, begins to blame herself over Ploy's death even though Wee tries to assure her that it wasn't her fault and that accidents happen.
In her mother's hospital room, Pim and Wee are told by the doctor that she can't get up and she can't talk with them due to her brain injury, but that possibly tomorrow she could talk with them.
As they arrive at the house, Pim gets another feeling of uneasiness. Inside the house, she finds many things that bring back hard and painful memories, such as the old piano that her and Ploy used to play when they were still together. In the bedroom, she finds an old photo book of her and Ploy from when they were still babies to when they were in the hospital before the operation took place. Bringing back too much memories than she can handle, Pim puts the book down.
That night, as Pim gets ready for bed she experiences a strange event that really scares her. Once she actually gets in bed, she begins to try and get comfortable by grabbing the pillow next to Wee and tries to fall asleep. But once she looks down, what was once a pillow, has now changed into something terrifying (Cue the scream XD)!

Visiting her sick mother again, who is now awake, her mother seems to be afraid of her. Asking her what is going on, the event is interrupted as one of the nurses comes in to give the sick woman her injection. Later that night, Pim and Wee find out that Pim's mother has had a relapse.
Waiting to go see her mother, Pim goes to a vending machine to clear her mind with something to drink. Accidentally spilling on herself, she looks down to see that there are two stains on her shirt - one from the drink, and another from bleeding - which doesn't seem to want to stop at all. When a nurse knocks her out of the nightmare, she goes back to Wee when the doctor comes out to tell them about her mother.
The next day, Pim finds that she's on a search for the dog. She can hear him barking as she walks up the stairs and when she finally reaches the top she finds him barking at the mirror in the hallway. A little confused, she walks up the the mirror to get the fright of her (AND MY!) life.

The Good: Holy cow, there are scares about every ten minutes! Too many to count and almost all of them made me scream my freakin' lungs out (That's very rare!) O_O Especially the piano scene!! If you watch this movie, look out for the piano scene! Also, there is an AMAZING twist at the end that even I didn't expect (Although I should've )

The Bad: Animal abuse. Yes sadly there are a few parts (running over the dog ) that suggest animal abuse, but I don't want to have that stop people from watching this amazing movie!! I don't think that I found anything else bad throughout this movie besides that small little thing.

Overall Rating: 8.5/10

Okay, so my list is now seriously beginning to pile up on me, so I'm gonna try and get as many reviews out of the way as I can!
Also, I'm not sure if I'm getting the characters names exactly right at some parts so don't criticize me!

POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT

So apparently this movie is based on a true story that happened in Thailand about a young woman who was beaten by a man and had her head chopped off and tied to an air vent inside a hotel. Now I'm not sure if that's the real story, but I'm looking into it and I'll let you guys know!
And I know that A LOT of people are getting sick of the long-haired women ghosts who kill innocent people just for revenge, but those are seriously my favorite kind of movies so you'll have to get used to them!

A six piece band made up of Kob, Uan, Hyai, Nui, Boy (That's his name, no joke), and Pim decide to rest in a hotel after a long concert in Bangkok. They're given a room that has the only restroom in the whole building. And while the group is playing cards they begin to get some pretty creepy feelings about the room.
When Uan sees a long white cloth hanging out of the air vent, he pulls up a chair and starts reaching for it but is stopped when Kob begins to complain at him. While Uan leaves, Kob looks at Boy and asks him if he saw the white cloth hanging there when they first came in. Boy tells him that he never looked, so he wouldn't know.

Kob tells him that he's never seen it before, but then starts laughing, as he was just trying to scare Boy. Suddenly, Hyai and Pim both say that they didn't see it when they walked in causing a bit of uneasiness in the group. Boy looks up and begins pulling on the cloth. As more and more of the cloth comes out you can tell that the group knows that there's something bad on the other end. But no, the cloth finally seems to end, but there's nothing at the end of it. They begin to hear a strange noise coming from the vent as it is suddenly glowing a bright green color.

Suddenly, all the lights go out, scaring the living daylights out of them all you can hear Uan laughing while saying that they were all a bunch of chickens. Everyone but Boy begins to yell at him, as Boy is too occupied over what is in the vent. As he takes off the top of it, he suddenly flees the room. Kob begins to ask him where he thinks he's going as he also looks up and also flees the room. Hyai and Uan both follow in their footsteps leaving Pim a bit worried. She wakes up Nui and says that they need to leave now, but Nui wants to know why the top of the air vent has been taken off, and as he tries to put it back on he also looks up and becomes immidietly speechless. Pim also looks up and finally sees what has scared the boys so bad. A long black-haired woman begins to crawl out of the vent, with the look of hatred and revenge in her eyes.
As everyone waits outside for Pim and Nui to finally come down, Uan looks down into (what I'm guessing was) an elevator shaft to see a figure looking right at him.

Finally, Pim and Nui come down giving the others a look like they know what they saw. Boy suddenly gets a frightened look on his face. Nui looks at him, having almost the same face. Pim looks behind her to see that same black-haired woman behind her.
Boy freaks out and runs outside -- right into a car, which rams into him, throwing him through the window of the hotel. The others watch in shock, not wanting to believe what has just happened.
In the hospital bathroom, Kob begins to wash the blood off of his hands and arms he looks down to see a young boy sitting next to his leg. As he leaves, (Oh Hey! What's that in the corner of the screen?!) he feels like something is on his leg, so he begins to limp down to the waiting room. Once he gets there, the weight is gone and he can walk normally again. He sits down with the others, who are all in worry and shock.

Suddenly, a little girl walks up to Hyai asking if he would take her home. Not wanting her around, he tells her to go away. She gives a sad look and says that someone else will probably take her. He asks her where she lives, and she gives him a picture of what was her and her sister awhile ago. Hyai looks at the picture carefully and asks them if the older sister looked framiler to any of them as he passes the picture around. The young girl begins to tell them that her sister ran away a few years ago, and was never seen again. Everyone listens intentivly but Kob is too busy watching the air vent woman crawl towards him.

The Good: Dude, the freakin' ghost lady was scary as HELL! But there were some good jumpy moments *cough* The coffin scene *cough* The plot wasn't the best, but it was still enjoyable and entertaining

The Bad: There were a few hints of Ju-On and Shutter in this movie I'm not positive, but I do think that all of Asia believes in the long-black haired women who look like they do after death, but I don't think that there's the little boys that are always their allies throughout their reign of horror...

Overall Rating: 7.5/10
The Sisters (Full Length Movie)
Recommended: Yes, especially if you are just getting into Asian horror! WATCH IT!!
