  Upcoming E3 games...

  Well, E3 2011 has come and passed. We saw some major releases including a new Hitman game, Halo 4, and Mass Effect 3. But which ones am I looking forward to the most? Well, as I only have an Xbox 360, these games will be Xbox titles. First and foremost, I am seriously pumped for Gears of War 3. From playing the beta and seeing the videos, this game looks to be a HUGE improvement on the last two games and will provide tons of entertainment. I am also looking forward to the new Deus Ex game coming out. I've never played much of the older games, but from what I did play and from what people have told me, it is a great series, so I will probably at least rent this game. The game I am possibly most looking forward to as of now is Battlefield 3. From everything I've seen so far, this game looks to be the most realistic war game ever made. I have also played other Battlefield games in the past, so I can expect how amazing this will be. WIth a new game engine, better multiplayer, and the return of vehicles including the fighter jet, this game will be in my collection on release day. Now, many people are also looking forward to Modern Warfare 3. I, on the other hand, am not quite as pumped as others. I have been a fan of the Call of Duty series ever since CoD 2, and Modern Warfare 2 was a game that I was extremely excited about. It lived up to all the hype, and continues to surpass all other games on Xbox Live as far as popularity. But, from seeing the footage about MW3, I am not inclined to buy this game, at least not for 60 dollars. It just looks like they've taken everything from Modern Warfare 2 and put in more missions. Will this game be good? Yes, I believe so, BUT, that doesn't mean I will be buying it with a $60 price tag. For early next year, there is one game that I am very pumped for and that is Mass Effect 3. I have been a huge fan of this series since the first game. The second game improved on almost everything and Mass Effect 3 looks to be even better. With a new story, new (and old) characters, and a last fight for humanity on Earth, this game will be epic. There will be other games in 2012 that look exciting as well, but I'll be busy for a long time with the games that I will be getting.
