    Well deserved 10/10.
    Kojima gave us a hell of a game.
    Best game i've played so far and trust me i've played all the good ones (Crysis and GTA included).
    Probably game of the year nominee and the most possible winner.
    Everybody deserves to experience MGS 4 but an exclusive is an exclusive that means buying a PS3.

    Superskitles crysis does have much better graphics than this and first of all crysis story isnt that bad.....jesus u nerds make it seem like crysis o god aliens!!!!so fake!!!wat a fake game!!!....jesus u ppl are so stupid so many games are fake and cant ever happen but crysis has great gameplay along with great graphic that crushes this and for ur information alot of ppl actully do have strong comps.....hard to believe huh????but they do.....so dont talk tras about good games just cause u have a crush on this game

    Okay, I'm sorry, but I am getting SO tired of hearing people say "Port it to XBOX 360!!! I don't have a PS3!"

    Don't you guys know the meaning of the workd 'exclusive'? Exclusives are there so you can buy one specific console. I mean come on, Xbox owners/fanboys, it's both selfish and stupid to see a great game, and all of a sudden expect it to be on the 360. If you want the game, get a PS3. If you can't get a PS3, then too bad for you; my lord, first Xbots say "PS3 has no games", now they're whining for PS3 games? Tell me how that makes sense.

    galienthealien...you are right crysis has better graphics. But where's the story? And do have to have a super computer to play mgs4 and get the full potential? No..... even if crysis has better graphics you have to agree that this game has the best bang for the buck. Definitely the most complicated and intricate story ever created. If you are trying to tell me that halo has a decent story you are on drugs. All halo is known for is its multiplayer. There is hardly a story element in the game. Half life has a good story but nowhere near this. All these other games are fun but none have been able to combine story and gameplay into one super amazing game. Plus, you can play it on a four hundred dollar console with almost as good graphics and a better story without a thousand dollar computer.

    Absolutely amazing game, 2nd best game of all time IMO(1st being FF7, yes i'm a fanboy). And for those of you saying theres games with waaaay better graphics.......lol. There might be a few games with slightly better graphics(not that I've seen), but I don't think it's possible to make a game with waaay better graphics than this. They're just too good, so get over yourselves 360 fanboys and admit that this game is a masterpiece.

    I've had a lot of fun with this game. People are comparing this game to other games by story or graphics. But do the games with better graphics have a story as good as this? Does it have equally good gameplay? Why don't people compare this game to games that can actually compete with it.

I've played through both, and Crysis, I have to say, looks quite a bit sharper, and there's even more attention to detail. Second, this game doesn't have even close to the story depth of the warhammer universe. Maybe it's the best story in any game-only universe, but think about how many books there are in the universe. Great game, however, absolutely great game

    I don't think there will ever be a game with better graphics than metal gear solid 4 until another Metal Gear Solid comes out. Seriously this game is graphically the most stunning game ever made with the most complicated story in video game history.

    The Raiden vs Vamp scene was cool but the bit before where he's slicing Gekko is miles better the game is very good. It seems short to me compared to MGS2 & 3 but the games worth buying. playing and keeping it in your collection.

    I hate the Gekko thou trying to kill them is a pain in the ass. MGS Online is a complete pain having to sign upto Konami's ID service is just pointless why they wouldn't just use the PSN service is beyound me. Once you finally get though all the red tape the game isn't not bad it's hard to find games for your lower level now. I decided when I got it back not to bother with the online portion.

    Man I loved this game so much while I was playing it. There are like no negatives, instead of a boring cut scene most of it is actually pretty cool.

    waaa? this game rocked..sound, art,story it excels. if you want mindless action, go play GTA...if you want a film-noire-esque type of game(which is what metal gear games are really, my parents actually stayed around to watch me play) this is your meat - i wasnt disppointed! nice work konami.

    It may be alot of movie but is this really a complaint, there is still alot of playtime (about 12 hours but can take much longer) , the story is amazing, and when you play it is so fun!!!!!!!!!!

    omg the guy that said Crysis has better graphics made me laugh lol sorry FirstDiscovery but i own them both and have MGS4 on 1080p and crysis on its top settings. yeah crysis is impresive... for a computer game haha. I wont argue tho that they are both hell of good games

    Excellent review, but it had to be ruined by one thing, the exaggeration on how good it looks. Seriously im not going to argue how good it actually is, but you just need to look at Crysis and see that it doesnt even come close
