Looks OK, just the same as the first 1 with slightly better graphics. Farcry 2 should be good, but if its like Crysis then I am going to cry because i rkn that game sucked A$$. I also rkn that fallout 3 will be better then both and Fable 2 will probably ruin my life as i slowly rot away trying to marry every girl in the game.

Okay, Aristotle. How can you know whether the GoW gameplay is "revolutionary" if you haven't commonly agreed what the term actually means? In some respects it HAS all been done before, and the game can't possibly be revolutionary. However the way the various mechanics are implemented in the game is exceptionally well done. Looks like GoW2 is gonna be even better than the first. Let's hope!

Three short weeks from now I will be playing Fable 2 which will keep me entertained until the sequel to my favorite game hits store shelves. I can't wait!!! I can't wait!!! I can't bloody wait!!...but sadly we have to wait...

godofatl, your probably a main-stream gamer who only drools over mainstream titles. Farcray 2 is in no shape or form anything like its previous fails. It has a sandbox design and has been completely redone... L2 pay attention

Godofatl, I have no idea what your talking about, Far Cry 2 is going to be freaking amazing. I preordered it, as well as GOW2 but I loved the original far cry, and far cry 2 is going to be even better. So no, hes not by himself. Maybe it won't surpass GOW2, but its definitely NOT gonna suck. I think its going to be one of the best FPS's out there once its released.

what the fu$&?? we get shields now? man im going to love that. geow2 is going to be just as great as the first one. its going to blow everything else out the water. i stopped playing halo when Gears stepped in. o and moving_fusion if you really think FarCry2 will pass Geow2 you are by yourself. Its going to suck just like the last one. sorry guy.

gears is cool coz of the chainsaw and violence and cool story and its fun and stuff its not a game based on a cover system and far cry 2 is just going to be muck coz its aaaaaall been done before

I remember killswitch being a horrible game, regardless of the cover system it had...either way who cares if it's not revolutionary? After all, there were cover systems in the very first FPS..haha...GOW2 will certainly deliver...

does nobody remember killswitch. that game had a cover system almost identical to gears. so in my opinion, they weren't revolutionary, because it was already done. the only difference is epic paid more for pr.

moving_fusion, gears of war had revolutionary gameplay because it inspired tons of games after it to use the cover system.

Ares360. Gears 1 had revolutionary gameplay? Quite frankly constantly sheltering behind concrete blocks which are the exact height of the characters crouch is hardly revolutionary. It was a good game, don't be fooled into thinking it was anything short of the standard FPS concoction. Very few FPS's show anything new of real value, true of COD4 as well. Farcry 2 will make GOW2 look like just another grey xbox 360 game.

Hopefully though online will be better and won't have to rely on shotty all the time. Gears 1 superb, Gears 2 is kickin ass & takin names.

Seems that Fracture is trying to copy gears in some ways. I've never played gears but a bunch of things in the fracture demo match things from this video.
