Not much of a video review has to be said lol all he was telling us was about the voilence and nothing else...Wait maby gamespot reviewers are only aloud to focus on the good and not the bad now lol.

I only watched half of this video review...
why?
This game is incredibly violent man... I was watching it with my mouth open. i mean crushing a guys head under that thing is uhhhh... gonna have nightmares now lol

this is the BEST review on gamespot. maybe it's a little too subtle for gamespot's audience though(?). the game is just about killing lots of people in different ways, therefore the review fits perfectly.
i personally condemn this game's use of violence.

Dont be so harsh on Kevin people. Yeah, he isn't a Gerstmann or whatnot, but he actually did something different. Justlikemike should get shot. Dunno what he's talking about, youtube is *AWESOME* and, to be fair, we really should have another one. And, just for the record, gamespot give good reviews for 8/9/10s, its the lower ones that should be looked at (im not saying they should be 8s, 9s, or 10s, but they should be a bit better. Mercs 2 should be given summing like a 7.5, and Facebreaker should be given at least 6). When i bought mkarmageddon, i checked their review about how it wasnt that gd. But they were right. After a few hours, you dont wanna play it any more. Justlikemike said 'All it's good for now is watchin video clips. Seriously if this is you moving forward, then take the initiative, grow some b@lls and take a look at yourself'. A)No, we dont stand around watching random video clips
B)I like the way I look
C)Just because you m@scurb@te at the thought at the fact of looking at other peoples b@lls and/or growing them doesnt mean you gotta tell US
D)Some of us are female. Dont tell them to grow b@lls either

i understand that this was a subpar review, but c'mon, he DID get his point across. i actually thought it was a spirited and very appropriate video, maybe not as a review, but it was definately creative! i enjoyed the video thoroughly! great job! a little more on gameplay, mechanics, graphics... you know, more REVIEW material would have been nice, but get over it! you can READ the review. this was fun!

The Gamespot site is excellent.

I just don't like this particular video review. There is no objectivity to it. It tells me nothing about the game.

I use reviews to get a sense of how good or bad a game is and ultimately decide whether I am going to buy it or not.

Sad to see my first post here on GameSpot after being registered for at least 6 months is to say that...
This "REVIEW" is awful. I like the concept of the first 3min 30seconds and it's great video editing, but I wanted a "REVIEW" to help me validate whether this is worth my money, not a promotion/commercial. I'm watching the review on gametrailers (thanks for the linkage Ponkie)

What the hell? That was awful! That wasn't a review, that was a promo. It's been like this for a while here. Gamespot is a glorified distributor these days. If it's not bullsh!t like this, it's 8,9,10/10 reviews for mediocre games. All it's good for now is watchin video clips. Seriously if this is you moving forward, then take the initiative, grow some b@lls and take a look at yourself - we don't need another youtube. Ahhhh, feel much better now.
