8.0 seems a little harsh, although most of the complaints are genuine. The masochistic difficulty was always intended to be part of the game.(hence the achievement for continuing 100 times) So I really don't think that should mark it down. Yes the camera can be a pain sometimes, but if you're a ninja gaiden pro you're always pushing R anyway to correct it. (should still get demerit for that though, due to the fact that not everyone playing this is going to be a pro). I'd say around 8.6'ish instead of 8. This still has to be the best action game today.

@fiskefyren: The camera problems are too big of an issue to be patched. Patches just fix small issues like sound bugs or minor glitches.

the only reason i haven't gotten this game is because of all its glitches/cam and other problems i heard so much whine about. but are these problems that everyone whines about never going to be patched?

I agree with this 8.0
It's a fantastic game if you can overcome the glitches and frame rate issue. It's sure pack quite a lot of action.
