@Midnight_Twelve With Studio Liverpool's closure, we might not see another Wipeout for a while.

Unfortunately that'll likely just mean games for iOS though, if it was Wipeout for PS4 I would be stoked.
@Midnight_Twelve I was also surprised by the lack of any Gran Turismo too, and the fact it looks like Drive Club has taken GT's seat!

That said... all conferences are full to the brim with the same spheel... and im looking forward to replacing my 3 with a 4!

None of them can ever pull anything off without sounding *painfully* stiff and awkward.
Makes it really difficult to get through the 2 hours.
Just glad they didn't pull some idiot loud-mouth rapper on stage to try to appeal to the "urban community"...

1 Like Sony have always had awkward stage presentations. The winner was the two stoners who presented the PS Move a few years back. That made me cringe so much that it put me off the system for a while.

@PlatinumPaladin Killed the buzz? He WAS the buzz! Nate Fox honestly delivered the best introduction to any game. like ever. And the game he was introducing also happened to make his intro remarkably relevant and is also one of the most anticipated games coming.
@Sorrow_Echo Agreed. I had already seen Nate Fox's real intro twice before this.. so I wasn't expecting this to be so funny.
The level of humor here far exceeds anything that normally passes as being "funny" at Gamespot.
3 Like When watching the conference, that tear gas comment and the monologue after was indeed awkward, exaggerated, and pitiful as if the person went through some hell. The last scene was brilliant from it.
1 Like I hate the whole 'ecosystem' label. I first heard it being used on one of the IGN podcasts. Every time I hear someone use it in a gaming context, I want to do violent things to them. Yeah, I hate it. Ecosystem....STFU.

this time ps4 and next xbox's specs are similar, so it will be a fair competition...!!!!!
@samueljeon actually, the architecture will be similar but the specs will be far greater (especially during the duration of its life cycle) for the PS4. It's all about 1.86 Teraflops and the 8GB of GDDR5. (720 will have gddr3)

2 Like LMAO!! I'm not sure why Gamespot is surprised at this from Sony. They are the KING OF PR SPIN. No other company does as much PR SPIN on their hardware then Sony. They use big words that are really meaningless to most gamers, to make themselves look good. They never delivery anything that's equal to the massive amount of HYPE they try to generate. You'll find out after the PS4 is launched that a lot of the things they have said about it here and at this years E3 is far, far from being true. It how Sony rolls. It's hilarious though. Being someone who has been to about 12 E3's I've seen it many, many time.

Well at least PS3 the origional had build in wireless, blueray, didn't require battery's for ya controller, didn't make you go out every other week to buy a new harddrive, release bull like the attatched HD dvd drive, release a console that had more flaws than any in the past releases, make you pay to play online... in all honesty I think the Xbox is the king of all bull when it come's to releasing new console's...
