Start/Select - Virtua Fighter 5, Battlefield 3 Team Deathmatch

i can't wait for final showdown. virtua fighter 5 and streetfighter and king of fighters 13 are the best one on one beat em ups out there

64 players on a small map! TOTAL MAYHEM

i think it really doesn't matter what they do with TDM... anyone who's been playing the BF series as long as i have is waiting on conquest mode, 64 players, and having a hard time finding a server that isn't full (at least in the beginning). TDM = ploy to win over cod players and as far as i'm concerned, they can have whatever team sizes their non-team orientated playing style wants.

is there jets for consoles?!

@xboxfanonly I already corrected the comment, It's indeed 32, but only on PC. To get everything straight: PC: TDM: 24 RUSH: 32 CONQUEST: 64 CONSOLES: TDM: 24 RUSH: 24 CONQUEST: 24

@captain_hitec you said conquest is 64, i already knew that. and you said that all the other modes will have 24, so you are saying rush is 24 and im saying how can that be if in the alpha it had up to 32 for rush.

@xboxfanonly What's the problem? Can't you read? My comment clearly gives you the answer to your question, Conquest (to be exact Conquest 64) will be the only game mode with 64 players.

@captain_hitec u say rush has 64, but in the alpha it had up to 32, im confused.

I never played MAG because Bad Company 2 attempted the the same kind of gameplay but seemed so much more focused.

I only play team deathmatch and 24 is fine with me.

@Mystic-G are you trolling? it's 12 on CoD, 24 on BF3 just to be clear, BF3 will have server lists on every platform. meaning you can pick which game to join. and from BF2 all the way to BFBC2, the servers can and are modified to have specific numbers of players. some servers allow 15 a team so 30 a server, or 16 a team 32 a server. other servers will be the 64 player servers. SO YOU DONT HAVE TO PLAY ONLY THAT PLAYER COUNT. servers are customizable, and will be. some hardcore some regular. so you can play without spotting, a mini map, ammo count, etc. i love how tons of people havent even played a PC FPS game and they already hate this game... such morons

Who in their right mind plays BF games for Team Deathmatch?!?! Go play COD if u want to run around with a bunch of Rambo's ! The BF series has always been known for tactical objective play and teamwork. 32 or 64 people on Karkand playing Conquest will be just fine with me. :)

ripped off. go back to 3 different map sizes like the good BF's. 16/32/64. let the ppl doing the servers pick size and how many ppl they want in it. 12 on 12 is only good if boards arn't big. i've played BFBC2 on PS3 and Xbox360 and i'm always looking for ppl.

first, awsome!!!!! second, some one answer my following questions. does, that mean thats squads will be six people on sdm, instead of four? is conquest the only mode with 64 players? and third, start over at first...

thats because you guys have not played a battlefield game with 64 players yet, you do not know what you missing... 24 player is pathetic and 240 hours is as well nothing on a PC i played BF3 3000 hours... you have to get you moneys worth... i played BC2 only 200 hours and thats because i completely disliked that game other wise i would have played it a lot more

24 is enough as there will always be too many snipers. Plus there's only few players who actually play as a team. I want BFBC1 HD anyway.

i love how people act like 24 players are crap, considering bad company 2 had 24 players, i have played that game for 240 hours, and i have had a lot of epic battles, so think 24 player is good number.

hoping for 32 at least, but 24 is alright. Also kinda sad about no vehicular combat on tdm. I always loved facing off people we were riding around in tanks and helicopters. made it feel like a boss battle! XD

64 and 32 are the magic numbers. And, dice has always done a good job with it. Except for this time.

I love how all of you speak like you never had 24 players before....BC2 Had the same which in my opinion is mighty fine to keep it at that! But i was hoping for 32 at least but what ever 24 is awesome... :D

24 is pretty low on account of the size the BF franchise maps have ... and besides those 256 or whatever is a pure joke to begin with ... 32 per team on a big scale map is more than welcome ... else you would just run around like an idiot looking for someone to shoot while you're just getting shot at by a sniper half a map away ... Scaling down to 24/16 however on small maps is accepted from my point of view/ Let's face it though - almost nobody would waste their time on TDM when they can just take the driving seat of a tank or a plane on a big scaled conquest map. Not to mention since there will be no vehicles or whatever in TDM the amount of adrenaline in a mach like that would be equal to a stupid MW1/2/3 TDM ... P.S. What kind of idiots would group up in one place to begin with ? 32 people in one place = bunch of monkeys with nothing to do ...

alot of players is cool but as the game dies out and servers cant even put people in rooms properly it becomes useless. look at battlefield vietnam thats not even a year old and after a month it was hard to get a full room. also depends on the size of a map why have 64 players in a tiny map

@Ljiggaman only PC will have 64. I think Consoles have something in the 40 range (can't remember if it's 46, 44, 48, 42...) I could be wrong about that

I was hoping for 32 players. Does this mean that the maps will be smaller for Team Deathmatch, or will tey still be the same size?

Is 64 player conquest on consoles too? Because I heard before that consoles have a max of 24 players on all game modes. Anybody know?

I don't play BF for team deathmatch

24 players is fine, mag had 250 or something like that but you never really saw all 250 players at the same time.
