Chris Watters flings bullets everywhere in this video review for Wet.
@chilleewillee SAME HERE! loved the voiceactress of Rubi going on ten years, played the demo when it first came out and now finally had to get it the day before yesterday. more than halfway through. :]
in the first comment i have made, i wasnt disrespecting her either. i was saying that she has some good moves and i would save her if she was in danger... of course, if i were in that game..
you know what... i want to cross paths with this beautiful chick, if i may say that because she is my kind of lady.... i mean in the game.... i havent got the game yet but after seeing this, i surly will get it...
I just came here bc amazon offer me a good deal for this game... I can't believe I pass it up being a hack n slash lover :P I'm getting this one soon =)
WTF?! I'm so mad at myself for not paying attention to this game years ago! Its like Kill Bill meets Stranglehold!
Stranglehold sucked. I think this looks much better, but I'm not sure if I can justify buying another shoot-em-up game after Stranglehold, the Gears games, and Uncharted. I wonder if a shooting game with some substance will come along any time soon...
I enjoyed this game, if they make a sequel I just hope they improve the aiming while not in slomo mode which is really bad in this game, that's my only complain.
this game is still awesome, but stranglehold is more fun. wasnt to fond of the upgrading system or the way you had to buy new guns. wish you could just pick up ammo and guns from enemies. and i didnt like that it took a while to get all your abilities, it made the beginning of the game more slow... but its still a really fun game!
I'm surprised this game didn't get a higher score given the generally positive review and the comments posted here.
I played the demo and before I was through with it I came to the conclusion that it was just too ridiculous to not like it. Just a little bit though. :(
Chris Watters is your every day reviewer, there's really nothing professional about him. He doesn't even know he's a subjective reviewer by basing most of what he says around the term 'fun', not on 'good' or 'bad'. That should be Game Reviewer 101, but apparently it isn't. But he did an average job in the areas he wasn't speaking about fun at least. This game deserves a score in the 6 range at best. Who cares if Ruby supports the grindy, Kill Bill aesthetic if you do nothing in the game but shoot the same enemies over and over again using a time slow mechanic that essentially lets the mediocre targeting work, essentially pits you away from otherwise terribly controlled 3rd-person shooting, and essentially kills enemies with bad AI who are just target boards? The game has no originality, no flare, only about one unique character, is far too repetitious, and worst of all, relies on a single mechanic just to work. The fact that a game like this could get a metacritic score close to 8.0 is evidence that we really don't have professional game reviewers anymore.
gamefly.com. it's in the $20 dollar bin but they have like prototype and brutal legend for $10, which is a good time
@mycatisromeo: it is actually. at least here in holland. that's why i watched the review. 10 ? of course, not $, but it's almost the same. anyone can tell me how long this game is? 10 hrs? 20? or less?
