Well, most of the time, HP is not an issue for my Bishop, but even though he's not in the front, he's often ganged up on by enemy groups. He has died a couple of times (once by a comrade), and death is not something I'm used to with my parties. Plus, some enemies are able to make my characters Insane/Turncoat even with 100 mental resistance. My Bishop's HP is low enough to where one hit from either my Fighter or Rogue = Instant Death. Damage over time is easily healed - it's the spike damage that's concerning, and while that's rare, it does happen. Everyone else in my party has also ignored Vitality but all of them have over 100 HP and none of them have died.

And by the way, faeries only have reduced carrying capacity - they do not have reduced health. My faerie ninja is sitting with very nice HP. As a ninja, though, she doesn't need the extra CC - it works out very nicely.

If picking was the only things rogues offer, they'll be seriously underpowered & undesirable to play like the past wizardry games. IMO locks/pockets are a side task while their main combat job is doing massive melee damage & killing things quickly, that's what makes them balanced/worthwhile compared to the other classes.

    Dead characters don't do damage.
Dead enemies don't do damage either.
