Basically, Wizardry Online is really an attempt at making a game like Demon Souls into an MMo, and unfortunately for gamepot -- it just doesn't work..at all, save for a very very tiny playerbase made up entirely of griefers.
Okay, game is in beta right now but all the major problems with the game are really essentially based with the core product such as permadeath on your characters, which can happen all too often because, lets face it ~ everything wants to kill you, from super fast respawning mobs (quite often behind you) through to hard to see traps, but the worst of all being PvP griefers/gankers utilising the very worst aspects of open PvP such as zone camping etc.
Essentially gamepot wanted to make a ridiculously hard MMo, and they succeeded however, the question is why? No casual players will ever touch this game, even tests the patience of the most hardcore gamers essentially making the game really totally pointless to play, most average players will give up after the first few deaths most of which will happen when the player isn't paying attention or looks away from the screen, if only for a second. And that isn't even counting players leaving the first zone and getting murdered by gank squads waiting at the zone line.
To any potential future MMo developers...look at this game, and never make anything like this ever again - please
