apparently they didn't put any effort into the VITA version, remember "dirt 2" on PSP anyone ?

Screens look great to me. Not sure how you can justify the 'no effort' comment without actually seeing the game in motion. Also, the same team working on the console versions are doing the Vita version.

My only beef is that the console versions contain 13 rallys out of the box. The Vita version contains 6 rallys out of the box, with 3 more as DLC coming soon after release.

Don't forget that the Vita version only contains 11 cars and the console and pc versions have 36.

The Vita has limited storage for games (4gb gamecards) and they are thinking of releasing the other tracks and cars as free dlc in order to complete the package.

Kinda stupid though, since Criterion managed to cram 100% of the console version on a single Vita card with Most Wanted. And this contains a giant city open for free-roaming.
