Infinite Loading Screen Glitch

I spent about two hours today perfectly setting up a new Universe for Universe Mode with custom arenas that I downloaded. But once I finished and tried to start a match, it got stuck in a loading screen. I figured that was strange, so I turned off the PS3 and tried a different match. The same thing happened. So I Googled this and apparently others have this problem as well, and THQ knows about it. They said they would fix it in an upcoming patch, but they said that a few days ago and I just downloaded a patch. Did the patch not fix the glitch? When will it be fixed? Does anyone else have this problem?
