Ok first of all the gamespot score; 8.0. Not that bad right? And look at the other reviewer guy's.... 1.4 ... wow. I can see why he doesnt like this game. I totally understand. This game is sort of like Acclaim's other WWF Game, WWF Warzone. Which as you know, was a big hit on the N64. This game is very similar, but it takes alot of heart and will to try out and learn the concept to play.
You gotta move the analog / gameboy stick and choose the moves you use. Its a pain in the butt to get used to... but if you memorize it, the game could be just plain fun... it may kind of remind you of Warzone. The best part of the game is obviously; the roster. So many wrestlers to choose from, decent playing modes, unlocking characters after characters, and more.
Graphically, this is one of the better WWF graphix I've seen. Its not as deep graphix as WArzone, Revenge, or any other WWF game you know... but its surely good enough. I'll say one thing... its way better than Wrestlemania 2000 ( a game that came out in year 2000).
I have sound a "great" in the review. As a result it has so-so sounds... but I like all the efforts Acclaim gave so I decided to give it an 8 =]
Overall... this new WWF game is not for everyone... but some fans of the Warzone may still enjoy this... and as long as they put their efforts and heart to try this game ... its not so bad. Have fun!

The N64 version of Attitude has the upper hand in graphics, but pales to the PS1 version in just about everthing else.
