How do I get the tab for recover gamer?

Go to "My Xbox." Go to the 2nd block showing your account information and your avatar. Hit 'A" on that. In the list of options that comes up, go to "Switch Account." When you see blocks of profiles, go all the way to the right where you will see "Recover Gamertag." Follow the steps from there.
