Overall, the performance of the Xbox 360 isn't as great as the Playstation 3.

- The Bottom Line:
- "Almost, but not quite"
I never actually owned the Xbox 360, but I know some pros and cons about it.
Pros: (plus 7.5)
can also play original Xbox games
can play games online with friends around the world
can chat with friends with headphones while playing Xbox 360 games
still has memory card slots
graphics are about the same as the Playstation 3
most of the games are shared between both systems with some exclusive games
controller is still wireless
console is not as expensive as the Playstation 3
has multimedia like music, movies, and pictures
Cons: (minus 2.5) failure rate is high (Red Ring of Death aka RROD)
power supply cord is huge
tends to overheat which causes RROD sometimes
have to play for Xbox live around $50.00 a year
doesn't have Blu-Ray player (instead has obsolete HD-DVD)
have to pay for extra accessories (like HD-DVD player and Wi-Fi adapter etc)
Overall, the performance of the Xbox 360 isn't as great as the Playstation 3 because it has a greater chance of dying with the RROD. While it's true that the Playstation 3 has the Yellow Light of Death (YLOD), the failure rate is still very low. The Xbox 360 is hard to recommend because the high failure rate and the price for extra accessories may turn some gamers off. Gamers may buy the Xbox 360 if they want online experience, or if they are into shooting games like Halo 3. The graphics are up to par with the Playstation 3.

Plain and simple, it's better than PS3 and Wii. No questions asked, no comments accepted, no arguments valid.
