My favorite part was when you meet Andrew Ryan and everything you thought you knew about Rapture changed. That had to be the best plot twist in a video game ever.

i agree it would be awesome if they made B3 where they would sow the beginning and how it all went to hell.

If any game franchise needs a novel, its Bioshock. They really have to give us the story of Rapture's beginning, and how it all went awry

I couldn't stop laughing when that guy said:
"I'm not a bad person...but I killed all of the little sisters!" his facial expression was hilarious!

"my favorite part was the first encounter with a splicer faking death. I actually screamed when that first happened. I also thought taking the pics of the corpses 4 the dude was cool." Over the years I have become immune to these kind of events but I wish I wasnt. To up the ante I usually play w/ the lights off and the windows open to try and trick my self. I lol'd at this comment and remember moments where I did the same.

I lose interest in a lot of games before I finish them. With Bioshock, not so. It was very intriguing and kept me wanting to see how the story would unfold. The atmosphere was incredible. (PC version).

It's uplifting to see artists perform at their best. This group came together to tell an incredible story. On the other hand, it will be an enormous challenge to achieve the same level with BioShock II. Good luck to them for the sake of us gamers.

Details are definitely one of few aspects that made the game so memorable and enjoyable.
Story in FPS games is usually non-existent aside from very few titles and Bioshock delivers in that department quite nicely.

I hope to see more of the same in Bioshock 2. Truly remarkable game.

Besides being paid off by 2K Games to create hype for Bioshock 2, I can't think of any excuse for putting a link to "Bioshock IS SO COOL!" video on the front page when we could be hearing more about games that have yet to come out.

I hate when Gamespot does stuff like this.

I never understood what all the fuss was about Bioshock. It was an average FPS with repetitive enemies, terrible weapons, some physic powers (most of them being useless apart from telekenesis) and a interesting and original story (with a good art style). Yes the presentation was awesome but the gameplay was not that great.

Personally i wasnt that impressed by the game, It wasnt bad, the graphics are cool but the gameplay is just so-so. I got bored and stopped playing halfway thru. The first 20-30 mins is as good as it gets. I dont like the way u can clear a room then go out, come straight back in only to find a load more people. . .Where did they come from?? I may get round to finishing it one day but i have other 1st person shooters i wanna finish 1st (farcry2, crysis warhead, and possible oblivion. . .again!)
