    5 hours? Holy hell, come on now. When are they gonna make a great first person shooter that takes more then a day to beat? I love playing online and all but seriously...$60 for a 5 hour campaign? Why even have it in there if it's gonna be that short?

    Good: Awesome story, awesome multiplayer, awesome game play
    Bad: Short story

    This guy's really good at reviewing - I like his natural enthusiasm. Unlike all those other guys who look like they're half-stoned and reading of a sheet. Oh, CoD4 seems pretty sweet too.

    If you are going to buy this game, make sure you can play online! SP is fantastic, but the value is in the amazing multiplayer!

    This game is worth getting preferably if you are playing the game online multiplayer which is where you really get your money's worth in getting it. If you want to play the game single player only no multiplayer then as a game it's not as good not doing the game justice (which the game isn't bad in single player story mode far from it) it's best played with both on and offline. A miracle of a game worth purchasing make sure whatever format you play the game on make sure it's able to be played online! 100% definately worth getting!

    That game is DAMN GOOD! Ive never played a shooter as good as COD 4... And from the few vids I watched on youtube, I think its still better than MW 2. MW2 has too closed maps, and the game modes give way much experience (50 per kill like S&D)... I think COD 4 is gonna be better...

    The campaign may be short, but it really doesnt fell like it due to the Super High Quality of the campaign. The Sniper levels were the best depiction of a sniper i have ever seen in a videogame. The ghillie suits may have seemed a little overpowered, but thats kind of how it is in real life; trying to confuse your enemy by being in the places they wouldnt really look: right below them.

    wish the UAV's weren't so simple, nearly ruined it for me, but one of the most amazing campaigns, and the multiplayer is pretty sweet, and I wish they didn't fire jeff gerstmann

    @grillman9 At any given time, I see 80-100 thousand players online...it is still EXTREMELY popular...play it, and you will see why. I think its only 35$ right now, if you buy from gamestop...worth getting, even if its just till MW2 in November.

    Call of Duty 4 is my favorite game of all time... Yes it had a short campaign, but it was a pretty good one... But the Multiplayer is where it's at. I have yet to find anything that is as fast paced, deep, AND addictive. Some of them have the pace, but no depth...some of them have depth, but are slow as hell to play. CoD4 was a well balanced multiplayer experience. Hopefully in Modern Warfare 2, they keep that same style. Which it seems like they are doing. Nice Review.

    It kinda feels strange how in cod4 the whole single player game is kinda based around the British shooting the russians,then cod5 they cut out the British completely and your playing as the russians half the time.

    I've never spent as much time on this game as i have in any game. The campaign is great but not perfect. Simple plot. But the online mode rocks. You'll easily spend months on this game

    The best level in the game is infiletrating Cherynobel in ghillie suits to assassinate somebody. It was a total rush. The multiplayer is the best part. Totally asome. And there's no dogs to screw up online play.

    I'm still playing it since its launch. I've tried several other FPS titles and all of them made me get back to this one. Wow COD4 is almost two years old and I couldn't find anything that beats its multiplayer mode so far. No doubt it's still 10 out of 10 for me.
