    After the 5th Dynasty it went downhill. They make it too easy to kill enemies and it gets too boring easily. I love the Dynasty Warriors series. But now they are making the characters look really bad and giving them overpowered weapons or just really useless weapons. For instance, Lu Bu doesnt have the halberd anymore, which is stupid. And what really bothers me is how some very important characters die and how they NEED to enhance the graphics dramatically. And what is up with the never ending combos. And all characters should be able have their own musou mode and story.It needs to be more like Dynasty Warriors 3 and 4, those were the best! But i will definitely try this game out.

    luved the dynasty warriors series... its exactly the same format at the other 10 titles, but still loads of fun. I can already feel the RSI fromthe button mashing setting in

    the game died after part 5 itz the same thing over n over the very 1st DW game was 1vs 1 duels like tekken only wit weapons i think i still hav it(on the ps1)

    man I love the dynasty warriors series.I really dont know what it is about slaying hundreds of enemies by yourself but its fun and I dont really care that they use the same game pretty much every year

    Gotta love the dynasty warriors franchise, even if they use the same old formula every year its still fun has heck to just go around and pulling off sick moves on little guys. Keep that DW train arolling!!!!

    These guys know how to make money. A new game every year with just one minor new useless feature (Ladder climbing...yeeeeeh....) Almost no development costs, just a graphic team to revamp the textures and that's it.

    Meanwhile, talented studios strive to find cash and many go belly-up...

    ya its the same ol thing blah blah blah but this is a great game to play with your young kids and have some fun. its not too complex and having them die constantly doesnt interrupt the gameplay works for me i'll be abvle to buy it cheap since so many ppl hate it.

    Koei really needs to listen to their fans. I mean... so many of the comments here are negative and koei doesn't seem to do anything about it. They screwed up DW6, so you thought they'd fix this one up. But no they don't *sigh*

    ....well i missed Meng Huo and Zuo Ci...at least they brought one back WITH THE WRONG WEAPON!!!! WTF KOEI!!!! and MENG HUO WAS ONLY COOL CAUSE HE WAS FAT WHICH MADE HIM AWESOME!!!!

    Meng Huo is being brought back. The time for mourning is now a time for celebration. Meng Huo is the best character ever! And plus the pillar is the most epic weapon ever. I mean its hard enough to lift one let alone kill with one!

    First Koei show us a pretty girl hacking clones up, then a hairy vagrant hacking clones up, and now an oversized brute smashing clones down. Way to go for variety.

    he looks really f*#$ing weird, hes too big plus the idea of a giant pillar as a weapon is just odd...and is it just me, or once he pulled out the gigantic mushroom as a weapon, it just became way to silly....

    i See they havent fixed the envrio detail where patches of grass vanish when you pass it! ah well!

    Other then that! i personally HATED using Meng Huo in 3-5, didnt mind him in WO/2 but he looks bloody good based on this! And is it just me or is there more enemies on screen?

    And pumped that Kirk Thornton is voicing Meng again!

    Here's what I don't get this game has hardly ever changed their formula right? Yet it has an undying fanship and sequels galore.

    Iron Phoenix looks about the same set in or around the same time span but has never had a sequel or even for that matter a DL port for current consoles made. What gives? Why the hate?

    What makes Dynasty Warriors gameplay wise superior to Iron Phoenix? That warrants it to be completely ignored and overlooked?

    P.S.

    I just hope that they make Lu Bu better on this game than they have on the last game. To be honest with you, this is one of the weakest Lu Bu's that Koei had ever made. He barely crack the top 5 list on DW6. Bring the Lu Bu back from Warriors Orochi into the game.
