On 3/31/2009, Microsoft released a second pricey ($10) add-on for Gears of War 2: the Snowblind Map Pack. It includes three brand-new maps: Grind Yard, Under Hill, and Courtyard. The fourth map is Fuel Depot, a reworked map from the original Gears of War.

    It is very good, slightly better than GOW1.
    I think It Could've Improved A Lot More.
    But It Is Still One Of the Best Games For X-box360!

    Epic had put a lot of thoughts into making these maps, unlike the combustible map pack. Snowblind is just miles ahead

    Fuel Depot is one of the best maps in the entire game, it is up there with Gridlock and River. Same goes with Courtyard, I love how big and wide open the map is.

    Underhill is good and Grind Yard is "meh" but this is a worthy purchase. (Unlike combustible). I'm glad that Gears 2 and WaW are actually adding something extra to their map packs. All other games should follow suit.

    Price is something on the like 800 points. Nicely made maps, Seem to be a little bigger then the others. But no horde and that sucks and thats what I play alot so that sucks.

    Haha Cole got owned by the Boltok Locust and Hoffman was awful when he jumped into his own smoke on Fuel Depot. Maps look good though, not too different or unique though

    whoever was playing under the "GameSpotLive" account... you suck hard at this game, wow. you were constantly getting own by bots! you couldn't even hit the clueless bots with power weapons like the mortar. you would think there would be at least one person at GameSpot that actually likes and plays Gears2 that would have wanted to do this preview. not that it really matters i guess, the maps do look good. however, if my only choice for using them is "Snowblind Player's Choice", then I will not be buying them. now if there is a "Snowblind Warzone-Execution" playlist, count me in.

    They should release a free gears of war 1 map to go along with combustable. I would lov to see rooftops or escalation agian since there adding one to snowblind.

    They look great! I'm excited. I just wish you could get the new maps to pop up in the playlist every once in a while with the other maps instead of having to play them separately. I really like Flood and Gold Rush, but I don't really care for Fuel Depot. I hope all 4 of these new ones are fun.

    I thought the Cumbustible map pack was pretty much obsolete.. many people said the maps were crap. Plus, $10 for 3 maps? At least on Halo, your able to customize them in Forge, that makes them at least some what replayable. But I may just buy these because of Fuel Depot. I also don't understand why the majority of the maps are snowy.
