I just hope these are not the ppl who made NFS Undercover & Prostreet.
Upgrades and modifications? I don't wanna be reminded of the Micro Mini spoilers/ GT Wings on the Undercover cars, which clearly shows how much the team knows about cars. And the cash u earned in the 10hr gameplay is hardly enough to buy another ride, thank god there's freeroam where u can play 20-30hrs to buy a new ride+mods. wow! great way to extend the gameplay.

I hope there won't be any cheesy Pit crew animations to remind us of the cops in UC.

One more game similar to Undercover and we can all kiss bye bye to the franchise.

I will reserve judgement on this one I think! The fact that they show, what I can only assume are supposed to be exhaust flames, coming from the diffuser on the yellow Porsche just makes me have some doubts...

I hope you can make upgrades to your car and actually feel them making a difference.

I dont get it, how can people say that the new NFS is nowhere close to Forza and Gran Turismo, and its gonna fail. How can you judge a game that you haven't played, and that hasn't even been build yet.

Accessible without, dumbing down!. That's perfect.

EA better take it up a level with this NFS as these games have all been average for some time now

Cute girl(surprised). Anyway i will be trying all three Need for Speed games announced for this year. Probably buying Shift for my PSP and i cant wait to hear about Nitro(news please!) because me and my son have played the last 3 NFS games together on the Wii and i would hate it if they screw up our new tradition with a game that does not feel like NFS at all.

NFS is heading towards the wrong direction (again)
They're not good at making simulation-type games, plus we have GT and Forza for PS3 and XB360 respectively, which will own the NFSS
    Just stick to arcade, EA

Why can't they keep NFS like it was before. Just keep the good franchise not this wannabe Forza and GT. When Pro Street came I knew this would ruin the whole franchise and now they come with another wannabe Forza.

NFS: Shift doesn't stand a chance against Forza 3 and Gran Turismo 5.

they should decide simulation or arcade anything in between in fail badly!!! hope it's a sim but the more I hear about this game the more I realize it's for main stream!

the woman is on crack. how can she even compare the new need for speed with driving simulaters like forza and gt4? The game will fail and rightly so...

    Great show as always.

Nintendo have made a poor decision choosing aac format music files, a main reason why i won't be tempted to spend my cash.

Again NFS trying to compete with Forza and GT, and again, it will fail. Enough said.

What's funny to me is all games try to be like other games, except an elite bunch that stand out. Change is good, but imitation is just uncalled for, thus this game is not in the elite nor is the franchise anymore. Too tell you the truth Need for Speed died along time ago and please let Grid be Grid, don't imitate. But at least they are going away from street racing which they began to fail at either between Undergroud 2 or Most Wanted.

    Posted Mar 9, 2009 7:07 am GMT

Hmm. Need for speed looking more like Grid. Thin line between simulation and arcade has already been done. They just need to but the need to put the need for speed franchise in hiatus for a couple years

EA Black Box should just role over and die. They've utterly stuffed up the NFS franchise, which I thought was great in the capable hands of EA Canada. Awful PR, as already mentioned. Shame it dominated so much of the show. Could have tantalized us with some Sims3 instead!

Who the hell is gonna pay £80 just for a cover for the xbox 360???

i hate it when companies treat their first customers like rubbish.

the loyal people to nintendo bought the DS.....then for the ppl who waited, they relased the sleek version......now for the ppl that still dont have it, their offering a camera.

ppl that bought it first must feel like s**t

i got PSP and i dont really mind that the newer versions are slimmer and lighter.....i just hope the new psp doesnt have dual analogue sticks otherwise its unfair.

hopefully shift wont suck like undercover did.

poor girl is probably nervous about the interview, this was a well funny show, just the bit when guy goes "oh hey, check this out!" lol actor or what.

    Posted Mar 7, 2009 8:52 am GMT

Seriously, the previous games she referred to when talking about NFS didn't sound like NFS at all. Driving simulation ? Hardcore ?

  • SuperMooseman

    Posted Mar 7, 2009 8:51 am GMT

The first half of the show is SO funny. Especially the first bit where Guy turns round to the camera and then just moves under the desk. Also, I wonder if the new NFS is accessible?

  • Gezquester

    Posted Mar 7, 2009 8:04 am GMT

She said accessible like 100 times!

  • i--Ki1l--U

NFS is already accessible to everyone!

BTW Guy Cocker Lian Li is actually pronounced lee-an-lee. Just thought you might want to know.

I wonder what she meant in the NFS interview where she says previous games were not accessible to all? I have a feeling she was talking about GTR not NFS (considering the GTR team is working on this game).
