On the day that Fable II arrived in stores, Microsoft released a free update that added online co-op play to the game. It's worth noting, however, that only the player who is hosting the game gets to use their character from the single-player adventure.

    Dylanmcc,how come this game is simmilar to WoW to you? I fail to see your logic,exept sticking our all-beloved mmo in EVERY possible place -_- It's a diffrend genre,difftend system,oh i know where they're the same! There are SWORDS in both of them! Some people are trully pathetic.

    Looks... simple.
    The battle style looks like a really bad version of WoW.
    And yes I acknowledge that battle isn't the main feature in this game.

    Why do people keep saying the combat system in fable is easy? Ever try dispatching a group of foes with a ranged weapon? If you can pull that off without suffering permanent scars I would like to see it.

    nephilim, maybe one of these days youll get a friend, and theat friend will have a 360, youll play this one time and come back here saying, OMG i dont believe i EVER mocked this game.....it is that good.

    Also, people complaining about orbs, as far as I know you can collect them during battle, so they dont get in your way. But, anyway, they are see-through and are not objects. Whats so awful about them??

    Hmmmm....Everyone talking about how this is the arena, but maybe its not. I have 2 theories. 1: You are at the gypsy fight grounds, seeing if you are strong enough to leave the camp. 2: You are having a dream, and learning all the skills of past heroes.
    Maybe im wrong, but they would both be cool.

    thos camera angle is really gay i hate it, look how far it is and the enemies still wait their turn too attack. weak

    its freakin' SIMS with swords and magic. I wonder if you can buy antifreeze to put in the dogs food. You probably have to suffer through some rediculous minigame to poor it in and stir it up. Gooooof!

    looks nice, tough he only used swords. the thing i want to use is gunz > But domtux is right. looked crappy whit all the orbs...

    Wish i could punt u Neph, that would be uber awesome. Should see the video about the dog the amount of effort they put into making the AI so awesome is truly epic they really took it to another lvl. I hear depending on your path or something your pet will actually change and grow depending on what u do by simply playing the game, they were actually gonna impalement controls on the dog but said that wasn't realistic u don't control your dog with buttons it's a dog not a robot yet another way how there ahead of the curve truly epic.

    this and farcry and soon after gears of war and mayb fallout 3 and the new call of duty with some need for speed undercover and then after all that we will get the new 360 dashboard

    Looks a lot like an updated version of Fable, which fighting system was good. And it seems like the smooth switch-to-pistol system works excellent, I bet I'll use that one a lot.

    Oh, that has got to be the arena! You wonder if it's the same one from fable 2? That would be so Kickass, and you like see a statue of yourself from Fabe 1 as the hero who beat everything.

    Yea, exp for the kill is better, but as you noticed you don't have to actually collect them kinda like in Devil May Cry they just kinda gravitate towards you. Game looks sick, hope its not gonna be a disappointment

    I like how they changed the color of the orbs to match the type of attack, but the orbs are filling the screen and become annoying. Still is looks like a wicked games and I can not wait till it comes out!

    In all honesty I don't like orbs in games its just an annoying distraction mid-combat to go round gathering them all before they disappear. Exp just for the kill is a better system I think

    They changed the color of the orbs so they correspond to the color of the button you're pushing. The blue or "X" is the mele button. The yellow or "Y" is the ranged one. And red or "B" is the magic button.

    I like that feature when u gain exp it tells u when a new spell or ability is avaliable

    i read on fable website that after fable 1 they used the arena to execute heroes cos all of albion had enough of them i wonder whether your character gets hunted down for being a hero??

    Combat looked abit 1 dimensional to me, but hopefully thats just cause PM is spamming the quick attacks.
