20 to 40 Hours
The Bottom Line:
"Solid"
Well this is the 4th installment in the Tag Force but now entitled 5D's so no more GX characters here and along with more synchro cards (yay) to make the duel go by quicker. The game offers the usual stuff, a story mode, free play, wireless play, and a couple of other features. If your a big yu-gi-oh! fan then your most likely getting this game without even reading a review but in case your not familiar with the game then read on. The game offers a full manual on the "how to" department (how to play) full with pictures and quick tutorials. In no time you will be dueling your ass off. Well lets get straight to the story part, the story isn't really event geared, in other words the game is based on making friends in a number of ways, you can duel them and earn their respect, give them presents, speak to them and answer an easy trivia question to get them to like you, etc. After you have become friends the characters will begin giving you requests or tasks, these lead to events and scenes and completing such task makes your connection to that character much stronger. Characters also have levels so some characters wont bother to pay attention to you until your a certain level, this level system also helps you identify which characters are easier to battle and which are more difficult. As you increase levels the card shop will begin stocking up on more card packs for you to buy. Speaking of cards this time around offers a huge amount of cards to select from, in the begining you are given a predetermined deck but later on you can find cards or buy cards to customize your deck. That's what the game truly centers around. So over all that's it, a not so hot story mode but okay everything else, so if your into dueling then let the game begin, and not turn off.

I thought I'd just make a quick video for Yu-Gi-Oh Stairway to the Destined Duel because it's one of the games I'm playing right now and it's pretty fun I just picked an easy opponent for this video.

I battle Marik Ishtar and win. I beat him real quickly, this was the fastest I have ever beatean him. During the battle I get a level 4 monster who I power up to have 3100 attack :). I hade to use VBA to make a video out of this game. Enjoy!
