It seems some people are still here so i was wondering if anyone knew were this reference is from.

When beat right now the level 1 alternative ending the boss mentioned a hero with a dragon mark on his forehead, does anyone know what anime manga or game is this a reference to?

It could be from Dragon Quest. I mean, usually, they drop references in scenes before and/or after they becomes understandable.
