The Bottom Line:
"Almost, but not quite"
NIS has given you an opportunity for you to become a hero. Because their hero died of a car accident. Now you have to train your way to defeat the last boss (the first enemy that you have fought) to save the super baby and by doing so saving the entire world.

ZHP may look like familiar for those who is of veterans of Disgaea series. Tons of equipment, tons of customization, tons of level grinding and etc. But there are two things that makes it distinc to Disgaea. One you yourself fight alone and the second this is not your typical strategy turn base like disgaea. Other similarities include, well, funny dialogs, you can befriend monster known as innocent, etc.

This game is great when you are looking for some dungeon crawling RPG. But not all may not like it even if they are fans of dungeon crawling games. There somethings that is keeping me to enjoy this game to the fullest.
1. You have to level grind your way down to the dungeon or die in the dungeon for a few experience.
2. When you die, all of your equipment in your pouch/bag and some moneys will be gone (unless you have body modifications that save you from losing some items). Some of the items are easy to get ones, unlucky if it is a rare item, although there some features in the game that make you save some items before you die.
3. The level system of ZHP is im not a fan of, you have 2 levels, the first is your dungeon level, as you defeat enemy in the dungeon you gain exp and level up in the dungeon, it reverts back to one after you die in the dungeon or escape the dungeon safely. The other is your base level, your true level, your level int he dungeon serve as the exp for your base level and your base level stats will be your stats in the start of your dungeon. I prefer if it has only one level, i think it looks neat when you see in the dungeon your actual level than seeing always the level 1.
4.When you die in a dungeon, the monster that killed you will be your phobia and the next time you fight the specific monster, the damge of that monster will increase drastically making it to kill harder.
5.Equipments and skills makes you hungry and w/o food you will die eventually.
