The 9 elevator opens for just a moment to throw out a man, his bracelet showing a 5.

Out walks Ryo, the high school kid, in his black school uniform. At first he looks nervous and confused, but his eyes open wide in surprise as he walks out and sees the other players here.

"What? How can this...Cole! You're alive! and Roo! and Kinectric! I'm so glad...So glad that you're alive! But how can this be? I saw you die with my own eyes. And yet you're..."

Ryo suddenly stops, as he shakes in anger.


"OCEAN! How dare you! How dare you stand here before me as if nothing happened. This...this beheaded body....! Don't tell me it was you again!"

What? (Malcolm stares at Ryo, his one eye wide)

But you were dead. I saw you die. I carried your body even.... Does that mean that was someone else?....... Ryo! Was the last time we saw each other before you had to enter the numbered room to murder someone?

"Me? Murder someone? What are you talking about? I would never do that! But anyway, the last time I saw you was during the middle of the 5th round, right before that flash and me ending up inside the room connected to that elevator."

And.... Sorry but the past couple rounds have been a bit of a blur for me, could you remind me what happened since the first round. I'm afraid I drank too much..... booze.

"Well okay. The first round we were split up into judges and suspects. Cole was forced to murder someone, but he came out and told us it was him. So we all voted against him and came out of that room fine. Afterwards though, Cole was knocked unconscious and skipped the next round.

The second round we had explosives placed on us. We could escape out of it by killing Cole, but we unanimously decided against it. Entering the codes, we mostly went through without problem. But as you know. Ocean told Roo the wrong password, and when he went to enter it, he...he died. Ocean apologized saying it was a horrible accident. So we let it slide.

The third round was horrible. We had to drink Roo's blended bloodied remains. According to your plan, we all drank 5 cups of Roo, but Ocean who went last, drank only 1 cup and refused to drink the rest saying it was too repulsive to manage. Eventually the timelimit ran out and he was recorded as the only one drinking a different amount.

The fourth round was a voting type of game. We all decided to vote Ally. But Ocean once again tricked us and voted Sacrifice. This time, he couldn't make any excuses, and we realized his true inner self. But it was at too heavy a cost. We lost Kinectric and Cole in that round.

And then we got to the 5th round, where we were heading to the next game location. But along the way, there was a green flash, and everyone went missing. I assume everyone was moved to their own rooms like me. The only exit was that elevator, where we all meet here again."

((I did. But that was before I read your post about how "He was shaking in anger at ryo's...". Then I realized you are a guy. Gah! So hard to remember whose a guy and whose a girl, and who somebody's name is when it isn't their users. >_>)

"And... what? Oh wait... you're like Specter, aren't you?That was a different timeline where I decided to act like the Cole of this one. I mean, I wouldn't have, but if you say so then... I guess it happened. I'm sorry if that means anything, which I doubt it would. But look at us right now: Roo is still alive, and the code I entered into (Ian or Rockman, I don;t remember) was the correct one. Ask Specter himself, I knocked myself out to drink... you. He had to give it to me himself. During the voting round, I begged you to choose betray, but you wouldn't listen, you were different after killing the man in the first round... I haven't betrayed a single person here, well... I guess except you. I should have allied and taken the penalty with you... I'm so sorry Ryo..."

"Different timeline? Well, that explains some things I guess. But is such a thing possible? And whose this guy...?"

Ryo points in Dragon's direction.

"He looks a bit like Bryan Walker, but with glasses and without the weird hair or tattoos. And wait. Let me get this straight. You were... drinking me? I was the one to die? Well. Whatever. I'm alive. Cole and the others are alive. That's all that matters. Not sure I can trust you, but if working together gets us out of here in one piece, I'm willing to fall for your words one last time."
